Finally got around to painting a new self portrait, used a new painting technique so it was definitely a learning experience!

2014 is going to be AWESOME I can just feel it!!! :D 

 I've been drawing gestures every morning before going to work, part of my new drawing workout! Woo! 

Happy new year! My most important New Years resolution: draw every day. I've decided that I'm going to update my blog every sunday from here on out, although depending on how long my blog entries get I might start updating twice a week since super long blog entries are really tedious to upload!

Anyways, I finally got around to animating a cartoony kitty! Been wanting to forever, I'm hoping to do lots of animation this year. Still in a rough stage, not sure how I'm going to clean it up yet. (I don't have much experience with GIF's, so I have no idea if it looks right on other computers/browsers etc) 

And here's a look at how I planned it through thumbnails. 

I haven't done any gestures in foreeever so I thought getting back into it would be really tough, but I was actually pleasantly surprised at how natural it felt! I'll be doing lots of these from here on out, I've started drawing gestures every morning before heading out for work. 

And something else I haven't done in forever; silly doodle comics! I've lost count of how many times I've had to dig out corks from wine bottles with a knife, but I've gotten pretty good at it. 

I'll be starting a facebook art page soon, once I finish my latest self portrait thing. Cheers! 

An update! I decided that one of my New Years resolutions will be to update my blog at least once a week, probably on sundays! I'm super long overdue for an update as it is, but here's some more recent stuff from my sketchbook. 

I really need a new profile/icon picture so I've been working on some different design ideas.

I've been wanting to animate a cat walk cycle for THE LONGEST TIME so I've been working on some different designs! I'm actually probably going to be adopting a cat over the holidays which I am SUPER excited for!!

Hal-Con!

Here's two more last minute Hal-Con prints I painted last week. I had an AWESOME time at Hal-Con over the weekend, met so many awesome people! Looking forward to next year already (hopefully I'l have a larger selection by then hahaha)

Been super busy with work, and prepping for Hal con (but mostly playing Pokemon HAHAAAAaaaa...)

I'm alive, yes! Finally getting around to updating this thing, I've been drawing A LOT lately and feel it's time to update with at least my more recent stuff.
