ADVENTUUURE!

I'm back! Well, for an update anyway. 

So I'm moving to Halifax tomorrow morning! I'm still trying to wrap my head around everything that's happened these past few months; it's a LOT to take in. Strange to think I'll be living by myself in the city come tomorrow night. But it's exciting. I was offered a great opportunity, so I decided to put my college career on hold and get head-start on my animation career, I'm psyched to get my butt kicked and learn and improve as much as I can! Of course I'm very nervous, but in the best way possible :) 

I've been sketching a whole lot but my scanner has been mostly MIA this past while, so I wont be posting any of those but I do have a few paintings done.

Just writing this post has got me all nostalgic, I def want to keep up with this blog as much as I can even though I'll be working. Now I sorta regret leaving it alone for so long haha, although I've been having an awesome time hanging out with friends and family with what little time I've been back home; this summer really shaped up to be an amazing one! 

Anyways, I wont have any internet at my new place for a little while probably; I'll update with some fresh new "I'm living in Nova-Scotia" art asap. Woohoo! 

Big changes! Hiatus

Obviously I haven't updated in a little while, reason being that I'm moving to Halifax! I won't get into details right now, I'll update properly later. But for now, time to pack up my stuff and head out on an adventure. Woohoo!

This blog will be on hiatus for a good couple of weeks if not months!

I don't miss netflix nearly as much as I thought I would, I have cable tv in my new place and it's nice not having to chose something to watch sometimes! 

Aaaand here is my first ever flash animation! Haha it's such a silly little thing, there's a million things wrong obviously (you can plainly see the joints, bad secondaries, etc) but I learned so much from this! Learned how to make symbols and some flash instances too, tweening, how to layer and build a character, all that good stuff. I wasn't too worried about the overall quality, more what I learned from it. My next attempt at flash should be a big improvement, I hope!

Decided to start reworking my little character Brie's design, getting tired of her current look! Trying different styles of eyes, hair, etc. I really want to animate her! 

I'm mostly sticking with the same body and head shape, just messing around with different hairdos. I want her to be a tomboy, but still somewhat feminine. 

More work done for the pinup commissions, will probably scrap the blue one though. Not satisfied with it!

Unfortunately I can't find my camera charger anywhere so I can't show any of my life drawings, cept for these! Scanned this for our last assignment of the year, full body drapery studies. I really need to work on my proportions haha

I think I forgot to post this! This is my first ever attempt at a lip-sync animation, a simple MEOW. The obnoxious voice is actually mine hahaha. This was just a really short quick assignment, we were supposed to animate a ghost going BOO but I wanted to do a meow, so I compromised with a ghost cat! 

I'm moving into a new apartment this weekend so there wont be any updates, but here's a work in progress of a commission I'm working on. The Daenerys Targaryen pinup!

Haha lots of Daenerys Targaryen in this post. I was doodling different versions of her, and then I just so happened to be commissioned a pinup of her!
