Here's what I drew in the past 2 days!

Reworking a character design for my animation portfolio

Some 30 second poses and random studies

Here's stuff from yesterday's life drawing class! First sketches were drawn with a square charcoal crayon, never used it before!

Then I switched to regular led

A WIP of some lineart I'm doing for my animation portfolio!

And another

And a 20 minute "study" really not sure I learned anything from this but hahaha I am so bad at backgrounds!

Haven't updated in a little while, but I have been drawing everyday which is what matters! I've just been away from my scanner and I'm too lazy to upload stuff sometimes :D

Trying my hand at drawing more expressions, I really like the first one which is "angry", the second one not so much though! Its supposed to be pleased but BLEH.

Drew some action poses with a random martial arts girl, just because! Gotta draw more poses from imagination!

I need to have 5 drawings of hands for my Miramichi portfolio so I started working on that! Don;t know if I'm going to use any of these but anyways!

I also need 5 drawings of feet! So here are some drawings of my feet and my boyfriend's feet lololol

More hand drawings, the one on the left is really weak but i kinda like the one on the right!

Some really rough sketches of a nun I'm designing for my portfolio!

The nun again, have to draw her in two poses, I'm probably going to ink these on photoshop!

Some quick poses

More quick poses

Quick poses without reference

I decided I would try drawing quick poses inspired by an emotion. So here we have "cautious". I'm a complete loser and I misspelled cautious lololol

And finally a painting study! Not sure how long it took, but pretty sure it took less than an hour.

More soon! And I'll try to updae more often instead of doing these big dumps, but as long as I keep drawing everyday its all that matters!

Big update today!

Some 30 second poses in ink, wow I'm really rusty! I'll need to keep doing more of these!

A "finished" anatomy study, its still rough but I gotta finish everything for my portfolio fast!

Some sketches of Evangeline!

Random doodles and my Skyrim character in the bottom right!

I decided I really want to work on improving my background abilities so here's a really quick 15 min study STRAIGHT UP COPIED A PICTURE ON GOOGLE AAAH YEAH

A still life study! Still really rough, I'll try to put more effort into completely finishing future ones.

Aaaand finally a background! I had decided this was finished but the castle is just sssoooo plaaiiinn! Sigh, I guess I might rework it! I know nothing about castle architecture baaw!

More soon!

Who needs a good title anyways

So I'm feeling really motivated lately! I really think starting a sketchbook on conceptart helped get me out of my art block, everyone is so nice and offers such great critique!

Here we have some quick ink figure studies, I've decided I really want to try and draw with pens more often. I feel as though my biggest weakness is drawing itself, I'm not very confident with my lines. But this is the sort of thing that will take A LOT of practice until I start seeing a difference. Luckily I just bought a new sketchbook so I'm going to start filling the pages with ink drawings!

More quick ink drawings! Will definitely be making more of these, some of them are garbage though! Gotta practice practice practice

A face study I painted yesterday, under an hour.

And lastly a (slightly) updated wip of Jackie, nearing completion!

Will update again on wednesday!

Works in progress because I am forgetful

So ready to start updating with new art every other day, I usually spend my weekends at my boyfriend's house so I packed my laptop up and brought it with me!.... BUT I FORGOT MY TABLET. And I don't really have access to a scanner. SO. All I have to show for are some wips of studies. Oh well, as long as I update with something.

First up we have a funny sailor guy, I've only worked on it for something like 30 minutes so obviously its still rough, not sure if I want to finish it more than this though!

And a folds/figure study, planning on finishing this one all nice and polished!

Okay so there is a scanner here but I'd have to set it up and download some drivers and stuff like that so.... dunno maybe I'll have the will later, then again we'll probably be going out so I can stop at my house to pick up my tablet! So hopefully there will be an entry with actual sustenance tonight/tomorrow!

Lets try this!

So, I've made a decision.... I don't know how well its going to go but I'm going to try my best. I was inspired by a friend of mine who's updating her blog daily, I think that's too ambitious for me so I'm going to try and update every two days! I don't know how I'm going to do that on weekends but I suppose I'll manage somehow!

So here are some sketch studies from Hampton's book, I'm learning a lot!

I actually sat down and timed myself when I was painting for once, which I have never done before. Not particularly happy with this speed paint but its a start I suppose! From a blank canvas this took about an hour.

Here's another quick hour study, I found a new brush that I absolutely love! Will be using it more in the future!

And lastly a wip! Looking forward to continuing this one!
